Zeus is looking for a foster or forever home through no fault of his own.
Zeus needs an experienced home that will help him with his issues. He needs work on his issues with other dogs and his separation anxiety. He is hesitant when he first meets people, he dosen’t growl or bark he is a bit handshy, but once he’s had a little sniff he’s fine. Zeus hasn’t been properly socialised, he has not been walked for the last 3 months and has lived his life in a small kitchen, with just a tiny garden to go out in. He was living with a cat and a 13 year old SBT, although we would not rehome him with cats as he would chase. Zeus also has problems with food aggression which his owner says he learnt from the SBT as she had food issues.
Zeus is such a loving dog, he tries so hard to please, he loves cuddles. His issues are mostly due to no proper socialisation and lack of exercise, he is a very intelligent dog and it must have been frustrating for him not to be exercised, so much so that he began to chew the wall, this must be taken into consideration when he is left for any length of time so we would prefer a home where the owner is around for most of the time, no young children as he would bowl them over, but older children would be fine as he lived with 4 children.
We introduced Zeus to my dog, he barked and growled and went forward, when my dog went up to see him he screamed and hid between my legs. We took him over the park, he barked at the dogs, so we need someone with plenty of patience that can help him, he will be a cracking dog when his issues are dealt with. After a few hours and careful introduction Zeus was happily playing with my dog so after introductions he would be able to live with another dog.
