Please meet Sheba who is a long haired black and tan female who is around a year old.
She has come into rescue due to her owners ill health.
Sheba is currently in emergency foster in Portsmouth with Kim who can only keep her for a few days, so we desperately need a foster or forever home for her.
She is a nervous little girl who sadly has not had much socialisation.
Her previous owner has said she is good with other dogs but at the moment she is incredibly nervous. Kim has walked her in a quiet area and she saw a dog at a distance and was fine however we simply don’t know how she will be in a home with another dog.
Ideally she needs a quiet home where she can be given time and learn to trust, she might benefit from living with an older calm male.
Sheba is very affectionate, once she trusts you , she hasn’t got an aggressive bone in her body. She loves a brush , loves to play and do zoomies
Sheba knows no boundaries, she counter surfs and she will try and jump up while Kim is eating her food. She isn’t housetrained, initially she did wees and poos in the garden on the first day but next doors dog barked at her and it really frightened her so now she is wary of going out there . Because of this she has started to go to the toilet in the house some of the time so any new home would need to work on this.
Sheba sleeps in the crate, cries a bit then settles and she has been quiet all night. This little girl is similar to how Poppy was and look at her now. Time and patience is what Sheba needs so anyone considering offering this little girl a foster or forever home will need to put their life on hold for a good few months but the reward will be worth it.
This is urgent as sadly she cannot stay with Kim so please keep sharing for Sheba and please only comment if you can help this little girl.
