A plea for a very experienced foster home for the lovely boy Prince.
Prince is a 3 year old entire male
Sadly Prince was left chained up in a garden for 2 years and is now so traumatized that he continually spins and chases his tail. He is relentless and only stops through exhaustion or when distracted with toys ( he loves playing with a football). He does walk well on a lead and this helps him too.
He is a very friendly boy but has been to 2 experienced foster homes already and has proved a lot to deal with. We feel he would be best as the only dog ( no cats) as he has stayed with another dog but the foster carer said it exacerbated his spinning as he would start as soon as the attention was off him and on the other dog.
Ideally a couple would be best for him as he is very demanding and we feel would be too much for one person. No children or teenagers. He needs a really quiet home where someone can dedicate lots of time and patience to help him.
As I said, he is relentless so please think before committing as we can’t have him in and out of kennels. He is on medication and we are working with the vets to get him more settled . It will not be a quick fix and needs a truly special home to take him on.
Please fill in a foster form on the website of you think you can help Prince.
