This handsome chap is Otis who is three years old, neutered but not in date for vaccinations.
Otis is coming into rescue due to his owner needing an operation which will mean he can no longer offer Otis what he needs.
Otis, like most juvenile GSDs, can be a little boisterous so in view of this we wouldn’t be willing to rehome him with children under teenage. He does suffer from separation anxiety so this means he will need an owner who can be around for most of the time. Otis likes to play with other dogs but will bark with excitement, but this is only as he wants to play. He responses better when being walked by a male owner, he will try to push things if he is being walked by a lady if he knows he can get away with it.
Otis will bark at buses so a new owner would need to be aware of this.
His recall needs work as he can be selective responding to commands off the lead.
He loves people and has a lovely temperament.
