Lexi is 2 years old, she is spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped.
The first year of Lexi’s life was quite difficult for her, she was passed around different family members, one minute living with other dogs the next not the same with children.
Lexi has been in her previous home for about a year, her family worked really hard with her, taking her to training classes, working on her recall etc. Lexi was living with a smaller older dog and they were good friends until last weekend when they had a dispute over a toy resulting in the little dog needing surgery, sadly the family don’t feel they can now trust Lexi not to do it again.
Lexi is a gorgeous little girl who is slightly nervous of new people especially males, she does have her funny little ways, she has always been ok with other dogs though is a bit hesitant with dogs bigger than her, she can be possessive with her toys so therefore we will be rehoming Lexi as an only dog, though she has lived with small children in the past we will only rehome with older children. Lexi has lived with cats in her previous homes, though she can play a bit rough with them at times. Lexi had dreadful separation anxiety and would howl, bark and chew when left, though she is at the stage where she can be left for very short periods, this is still work in progress so she needs a home where someone is around most of the time.
If you feel you can offer Lexi a stable and secure home please go to our adoption page and complete our questionnaire.
