Please meet Lacey who is sadly looking for her new forever home due to her owner’s terminal illness.
Lacey is 11 years old, microchipped, spayed and in date for vaccinations.
She is currently living with another dog but her owner says she likes her own company and is best as an only dog. She isn’t cat tested and although she is used to visiting teenage grandchildren she isn’t used to living with them.
Lacey has epilepsy which is controlled by medication but this does make her skin itchy and sensitive.
She isn’t being walked at the moment so is a little strong on the lead and did show some reactivity to other dogs when out but this was mainly vocal.
Lacey is obsessed with stones. In the garden she will bark constantly for someone to play with her with them. She loves her ball and entertains herself with this as you can see from the video.
She is fine to be left and travels well in the car but again she does bark.
Lacey would suit a single person or couple who would like an older dog and have a good sized garden where she can potter about with her ball and potentially go for short walks. Any potential adopters need to be comfortable with her barking as sadly this has become normality for her . She does settle once indoors and takes herself off to bed.
