Elsa has recently come into rescue – she was previously a stray so we knew very little about her.
Elsa is a physically small girl, who is very gentle. She likes to walk at the front of the pack otherwise she’s a little vocal, however that’s more like a hoarse sea lion bark than a scary GSD bark.
She walks well on the lead however just needs to have a little more practise as she’s prone to jumping up for cuddles. She is very treat focussed and eager to learn. Elsa can tend to be a little possessive of her owners so would be best as an only dog in a home. She is a definite NO for living with a cat.
As Elsa has not lived with a child before we would suggest only visiting children. She has the basic commands and walks well on a lead and happy to walk with other dogs so is quite a sociable dog outside the home. She is a dog who would be suited to agility etc. She has very little experience of car travel so this is something her new adopters would need to accept, and work with her on.
