Please meet the very handsome Duke.
Duke is a 1 year old entire male, vaccinated and micro chipped .
Duke recently came into rescue from a home with 5 children as it was all getting too much for him.
He is a friendly boy with people and other dogs but does suffer from mild hip dysplasia so needs a quiet home, preferably adults only.
We have been told he is ok with cats but we haven’t cat tested him.
Duke could go with another dog but it would need to be an older, quiet dog.
Duke is currently in our Southampton kennels.
Please fill in an application form on the  adoption pageif you feel you could offer this lovely boy a foster or forever home.

Latest Updates for Duke

May 27th 2021

Sadly Duke has had to come back to kennels as he found his new home too busy.
Duke is a 1 year old entire male.
Duke will need any potential adopters to meet him a few times at kennels and will need to understand he needs lots of time to settle into a new home -sadly his last home did not allow him to do this.
He needs to be the only dog , no cats and no children. We will only consider homes with previous gsd and rescue experience for Duke.
He does have mild hip displasia but with careful management and exercise should be able to lead a normal life.
Please fill in an application form on the adoption page if you can offer this boy the quiet and experienced home he needs.
