German Shepherd Rescue South is a small registered charity which rescues and rehomes unwanted, abused or stray German Shepherd dogs throughout the UK.
a) To keep dogs in their own home
b) To find a suitable new home
c) To place a dog in a foster home
German Shepherd Rescue South does not receive any formal funding and relies totally on the unselfish support and kindhearted generosity of the general public. It is a non-profit organisation and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.
Our amazing volunteers work tirelessly to organise fundraising activities such as sponsored walks, store collections, coffee mornings, abseils and art and craft sales. Naturally we are always open to new fundraising ideas and supporters.
We do apply for grants from ‘Support Adoption for Pets’ and the ‘Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust’ and are deeply grateful for their continued support. All monies raised are only used to pay for our kennels, veterinary and any administration costs.
We are also truly indebted to our financial sponsors who donate on a monthly basis and give so generously to our numerous appeals.
